Just to be clear, I will be voting for Pierre as a new PM. I’ve been saying this since the beginning when he became leader of the opposition ; for all of his promises, which sounds great and makes a lot of sense. I’m afraid that some of them will not be able to be in his first term due to the fact that the liberal party has put this country in such a deep financial hole that it will be nearly impossible to climb out . Hopefully his voters and supporters realizes this and don’t give up on him. I truly believe that he will need to majority governments to bring us back to baseline because of the mismanagement of Trudeau and his party

He’s the guy who would ask his teenage son what the heck is Nvidia. I remember buying you that card for $800 during Covid lockdown. His son would reply it’s just a gaming card. Trudeau dropped the ball on AI investment. UofT engineers introduced deep learning, leading to the creation of ChatGPT and OpenAI and the importance of GPUs, setting the pathway for Nvidia’s success. Nvidia, now a trillion-dollar company, has diversified into various industries like robotics, healthcare, manufacturing, autonomous technology, etc. They have established key partnerships and developed AI programming libraries to stay ahead of competitors as you can see from their work in NIMS, Thor, Cuda, NvLink, GROOT, on and on. Comparing Nvidia to Nortel is unfair to the hardworking Nvidians who have shaped the company's success. Nortel went bankrupt because it couldn’t keep its intellectual properties protected from its competitors specifically the Chinese. Nvidia is NOT Nortel.

Big government spending on sweetners and unicorns = higher taxes = higher inflation = government subsides to quell inflation, The rising interest rate can surely control inflation, but won't prevent erosion of the eroding purchasing power of the US dollar. I have learnt my lesson this time. The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I have set aside 650k to invest in the stock market now, since that keeps up with inflation, but I don't know how to get started.

When I was working in real estate in 2007, I saw people acquire new homes from builders with the purpose of selling them to a new buyer before the end of escrow for a profit. I remember seeing a lot of these condos foreclosed on with the builder plastic still on the carpet because the crash was so violent and rapid.
